Me with two of my grandsons

Hi, after thirty-three years I recently retired from my job as an Accounting Technician. For those who don’t know, Accounting Technicians are support staff for Chartered or Certified Accountants in the preparation of draft accounts. Also, many Accounting Technicians go on to run their own successful businesses in the accounting and payroll fields. After my name I can now use, if I wish, the letters ‘MAAT’. This informs the world that here stands proudly, a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.

So I found myself with time on my hands but not enough funds to enjoy my life in the way I would like. So I started looking around for another job to boost the funds. Unfortunately this is the age of youth. Employers are looking for new fresh ideas from the generation who have grown up with computers and applications as extensions of their bodies.

I realized that I had to do something on line to improve my circumstances. So I looked around and fell upon internet marketing. After reading all the spiel about overnight riches and passive income, for the next eighteen months I threw myself into it.  Alas, although I have a hard disk full of utility programs, tuition books, private label rights books and coaching courses nothing has come of it.

Until now, that is.

I signed up to John Thornhill’s ‘Partnership to Success’ after hearing so many good things about him, and believe me, because of all the disappointments I have had, I really did check up on him. I feel in my water that this course will lead me on to better things. I am very excited about it and can’t wait to get stuck in.

    Hello Pauline,
Your Accountancy background has developed your skills in pursuing a logical process with persistence. All you have to do to succeed in Internet Marketing is apply those skills to following John’s program. I’m looking forward to reading of your successes on this new road.
    Kind Regards,
    John Williamson

    Hello Pauline,
I’m an ex-pat living in Munich, but originally from Warrington (just down the road from you). I’m a uni lecturer for Business Communication, and I must say, numbers are definitely not my cup of tea. I’m on week 8 of P2S and although I’ve had a few minor problems, the support I’ve received from P2S members has been fantastic. This, combined with John’t training, really gives me hope that we can all make a go of this thing.
    Cheers
    Bernie

    Hi Pauline

I am from a similar background to you – only probably on the other side of the fence.

I am an investigating officer with HMRC. I started 32 years ago, and I plan to leave the Department on 4 April 2014.

I am just resigning, not retiring. I have just sold my house and will have enough funds to keep me going until I start making money at IM.

I did look at the Accountancy Technician course many years ago, but opted instead for the Associatiion of Taxation Technicians and Chartered Institute of Taxation.

I, too, did quite a bit of research before signing up for this course. John really does appear to be the real deal. I really believe that if we stick with him, and follow everything he says until we get the stablisers off, we will be successful.

    Good luck,

    Arny

      Hi Arny
Not too long to go for you then. Are they throwing a party for you? To be honest I loved my job and when it came to retiring I was miserable. I thought my life would be boring. But I am happier than I have ever been. Apart that is from all the money I threw away when I first started on the internet. That’s all stopped now. The future is ours.

    Thank you for visiting Igor.

Yes I agree our children are wonders with computers. I have ‘played’ on computers since the 1980’s. Started off on the Atari playing space invaders and moved on to programming in basic. But that was it, never progressed to actually putting myself online. Feels kinda funny.

I am still excited about this course. I am spending as much time on it as I can.

    speak again Igor

well hello Pauline, I have 5 kids and watching them use computers is amazing, to them its as natural as breathing.

I am also a P2S 2014 member and only joined because John’s style of training was so refreshing from all the other disappointments like you I had experienced.

Look forward to following your adventure
