Taking Stock Weeks 5 to 7

Hi everybody, here I am writing about weeks 5 to 7 already. The time really does fly by when you are enjoying yourself.

Taking Stock

Weeks five to seven have entailed more work in order to get the blog up to scratch so that I can start making money from it. I feel am really advancing towards something now.

Check it off

Check it off

  1. Adding additional Social Media buttons if required.
  2. How to adjust the width of the sidebar
  3. Downloading and installing a plugin – Widlink Widget
  4. Setting up Widlink to have it display on blog sidebar
  5. Adding my blog address to the Partner to Success network
  6. Apply for Google AdSense
  7. Read the Google AdSense guide
  8. Downloading and installing another plugin – GARD
  9. How to add adverts to my blog using Google AdSense
  10. Register with Clickbank
  11. Apply to be an affiliate for one of John Thornhill’s products.
  12. Wait to be ‘whitelisted’ for this product by Clickbank
  13. Purchase and download another plugin – Insta Legal Pages
  14. Upload and activate this plugin on my WordPress dashboard
  15. Use the ‘Insta Legal Pages’ to generate legal pages to show on my blog
  16. Adding images to blog posts
  17. Adding videos to blog posts
  18. How to schedule blog posts if necessary

The lessons for these last three weeks are quite in-depth; there is a lot to learn. I have never dealt with videos before. The video actually worked out very well and I am really excited about it.

I am still backing up my blog frequently as this is an essential task.

Time to move on to week 8 now.

      Hi Manoranjan,
I have two ‘Taking Stock’ posts up to now.
I have just finished week 8 so I shall probably talk about that on its own.
Week 9 is the start of phase two, so when the time is right I will probably do a taking stock for week 9 and week 10.

      Take care

    Hello Pauline,

I have just finished most of the trainings also up to week 07. But I’m still on the catch-up mode up to now, mainly because of my day job.

I’m not using that as an excuse though. I’m very determined to see the training thru. And yes, although the weeks’ trainings are slightly more demanding of our time, the results are quite fulfilling and exciting.

Can’t wait to really catch up and be at an equal pace with the rest of the group.

    Cheers,

    Romi

      Hi Romi,

Please don’t feel that you have to rush to catch up. Just do It at your own pace. I am behind by about 3 weeks I think. The blessing to this, is that when you get stuck others have already completed the thing and are able to help out. They are very helpful when you need them.

      Take care

    Hi Pauline,
Your blog is really looking great! I like your “Taking Stock” list. I think it’s a great way to keep on track with the changes you want to make. I will be doing something similar as I start the updates on my blog.

      Hi George,
Yes I find that when I do my taking stock lists every couple of weeks I am amazed at just how much I have done.

    Hi Pauline,

Upon reflecting back from your list, it’s amazing how much has been achieved in such a short space of time, and all thanks to the excellent course structure and video training from our wonderful mentor John Thornhill. Just imagine if someone new was to attempt the same kind of achievement without a mentor to guide them, it would be quite hectic, for one where does one start? Would one have been able to keep the momentum going without the great support from the many talented individuals like yourself in the P2S group? Possibly, but no doubt without the encouragement of likeminded individuals, it would be hard and for sure one would have nothing to gauge upon whether they might be heading in the right direction or making progress.

Keep up the great work and determined focus spirit

    Kind regards
    Sky

      Hey Sky,

I have tried other coaching courses but have achieved nothing, only to be cautious when choosing another course.
With P2S guiding me I feel as if I am on my way.

    Hi Pauline,

Its been quite a rollercoaster ride hasn`t it but we have acheived so much in such a short time. I found the setting up process easier than I thought by watching the videos. I can`t wait to get started on product development next week.

      Hi Mike,
      Thank you for your comment.
I find if I follow the videos without straying onto other things, then I gradually work forward.

I shouldn’t worry about being behind. I am behind others. Just take it at your own pace.
